Meet the Docs
James T. Turnbull Jr., D.C., CCST, FIAMA

Dr. Turnbull began his college studies at Lawrence University, a small liberal arts college in Wisconsin, giving him a diverse background in English, history, philosophy, science and the arts. Following his time at Lawrence, Dr. Turnbull attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis where he actively studied rehabilitation and neurology around the country with respected leaders in both medicine and chiropractic. Following his graduation, Dr. Turnbull taught rehabilitation to senior students at Logan College of Chiropractic and helped in laying the groundwork for an interdisciplinary pelvic pain rehabilitation center for postpartum women at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Dr. Turnbull has been practicing in Denver since 1999. In 2001 Dr. Turnbull earned his Chiropractic Certification in Spinal Trauma following an intensive year-long course of post-graduate study and in 2003-2004 completed a Fellowship with the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. Currently, he is an Adjunct Clinical Sciences Faculty at Northwestern Health Sciences University. Outside of the office, Dr. Turnbull enjoys playing guitar, photography, hiking, camping and travel with his wife, Stacy and his dogs, Stella and Dory.
Grant McDonough, D.C.

Dr. McDonough began his studies at the University of Iowa as a pharmacy student.  However, he quickly learned that pharmacy, and conventional medicine as a whole, was not the career for him.  Dr. McDonough went on to graduate from the University of Northern Iowa majoring in biomedicine.  He then moved north to Minneapolis where he completed his doctoral studies at Northwestern Health Sciences University.

Dr. McDonough is skilled in multiple techniques, spinal rehabilitation, and numerous therapeutic modalities.  Passionate for knowledge, he has completed post-doctorate studies in detoxification, blood chemistry, and nutrition under several world renowned doctors.   He is continually attending lectures and seminars to stay on the cutting edge of medical research and protocols.  Dr. McDonough practices with the concept that the human body contains amazing potential given proper chemistry, structure, and function.  It is this potential that he strives to unlock in his patients.

Outside of clinic, Dr. McDonough is a music enthusiast, and avid concert goer.  He enjoys cooking, baseball, and the outdoors in general.  Dr. McDonough is happily married and resides in Denver with his wife Pam.
